Ability to Open Main Navigation in New Tab

Currently the main navigation in header (Inbox | My Work | Dashboards | etc) cannot be opened in a new tab.

When I ctrl + click or middle click, the link follows through but the standard browser event of opening a new tab is ignored.

It's very useful to open dashboards or reports in a new tab, without losing

Sure, I can open a new tab, type in wrike.com, then go to where I want to go, but that is so annoying that I have to do that.

Please do not disturb normal browser functions when it does not make sense to do so.

Was this ever addressed? When I use mmb (middle mouse button click) in the Wrike Desktop app, a new window opens. Can I change the default behavior of left and/or mmb click? I'd like to have left click always open a new tab and load the Wrike link I'm clicking on

since there was no answer ever again in this thread, I assume, that the fact wasn't adressed yet? New window is fine for some people but for me and many other people in my company it would be much easier if the wrike app would behave like the wrike browserbased application. Maybe there is an option to make the open new tab/open new window behaviour customizable?

Would like to add to this that opening a preview in a new tab via specific click would be very helpful to my team as they often need to refer to other parts of the Wrike entry in comparison with the attachment without having to download.

I agree with what others have said. Having the new tab feature (and/or the middle click shortcut) to open a new tab would be very helpful and make the user experience even better.

@Elizaveta Bogdanova, I've seen this requested in a five posts after looking for just a few minutes, and there are probably at least a few others posts where it's described slightly different as well. I hope your team aggregates the upvotes when determining the level of interest in a feature/idea!

In every other browser app that I use Ctrl+click opens links on a new tab in the background.

Wrike makes you click into a flyout menu to open the link in a new tab, and it still takes you to the new tab. New friction added to common, everyday workflows
