Personal Dashboard on Windows as widget

I have set up a personalized dashboard for myself. It gives me a great overview of upcomming tasks and current tasks.

However I personally don't like that I have to always click onto it. We have a lot of dashboards in our company space, so it can be a bit difficult to keep track or find the correct one quickly.

I know you can pin a dashboard, but personally I would like to add it as a custom widget to my Windows Desktop (We have a 2 displays+ laptop setup at work so my dashboard would reside on the desktop of my laptop).

Currently I just have an extra Chrome instance running on my laptop screen but that makes quite cluttered(Also ressource hungry, as it still is Google Chrome 😅)

Is there any plan to bring custom widgets, dashboard to the desktop?

Hey Florian, we have no such plans on our roadmap yet, but it's an interesting idea definitely worth entertaining further. Thank you for bringing it up!

I have a question, though. Dashboards are quite large and require a lot of screen space, while widgets are typically small and occupy only a tiny fraction of it. Also, I believe Windows desktop widgets cannot have arbitrary sizes, and you need to select one out of 3 available sizes, making fitting a dashboard nearly impossible. How do you feel about dashboard widgets as widgets on a screen?

Alternatively I wouldnt even mind having it as an interactable Live Desktopbackground either (bit more Ressource hungry but worth the gain in my opinion)

Hey @[Deleted User] , I had a discussion with a fellow Wrike enjoyer at work the other day.We also came to the following idea:

A Browser extentison that shows a chosen Dashboard as the default window. Similar to the Wrike Page that shows your page when you start a new Tab.Perhaps this could be a something more platform universal and easier to implement!

Something like that would help us a lot with keeping track of things efficiently!
