Out of Office Message

Hi! It would be very helpful to have the option to set an out of office message in Wrike. My team works closely with Stakeholders inside our company who often don't know our PTO schedule. For example, it could be a small alert at the top of the message box that appears when the person is tagged in a comment or approval. That way we know when we to except a response from the stakeholder/team member.

Can I ask, what options are available to us for Out-of-Office messages to those submitting request forms. This looks like a good solution for internal users to know if a team member is available or not, but I am having a hard time finding a solution for Wrike to notify those who are not users of Wrike. (i.e., notifying form submitters).

Hi @Paul Disney, welcome to the Community. Thank you for your comment, I'm afraid that at the moment there isn't a direct way to let colleagues without a Wrike account know that a user is not available.

I like that the unavailable shows up, but in agreement that it would be nice to see "unavailable between x data and x date" for clarity

Thank you for commenting. Currently, Wrike does not have a built-in feature to automatically send out-of-office messages, such as "Unavailable until [date], please @ mention [name]."

well, glad i found this feed. I am a designer, wanting to have this out of office feature. while reading everyone's comments, i had an idea that you could change your profile image to a out of office image. just have to remember to change it back.

Many of my clients only communicate through Wrike rather than email and I think this is a huge gaping hole in Wrike. If it could have some functionality like in Teams for out of office, this would be immensely helpful. Please consider adding this to your platform. It is desperately needed and no brainer.

Suggested feedback: I agree with the suggestions above. An out of office option for Wrike would be beneficial stating what dates a person is unavailable. I currently use the calendar part where you can mark it vacation/pto or non-working. With Wrike being more and more used by our team email communication is not happening as often because of the use of communicating through Wrike. I also agree that not having an OOO message is not good. I just had a colleague that was out of the office and got three emails from a requestor because he did not get a message that she was out of office. This is a really big need. Please let us know when this is going to happen. Thank you.
