Hello Wrike Community,
Our team is having an issue with new dashboard widgets that seems to just be a lack of functionality, but I wanted to check here first to see if anyone has a fix. Our team is trying to set up a dashboard for a team leader who wants to see a separate widget for each member of their team, broken out by project, with tasks and subtasks underneath each project. Each time we try to set this up, we get an "Empty" project with several tasks underneath it that belong to other projects. I contacted Wrike and was told that these are all subtasks. The only fix they gave me was to tag those subtasks in the parent project, but that makes them show up as tasks under the project and they do not show as subtasks under the task they belong to within the widget. This also alters the structure of our projects and shows subtasks as tasks under the project, and also as subtasks under the task, essentially "duplicating" the subtask and confusing our team. This "fix" will not work for our team. Does anyone here have experience creating a widget that will show the structure of Project-Task-Subtask? Or is this just a functionality limitation? This seems like a basic function that any project management software should have, so we may need to move to another product if there is no solution for this. In that case, does anyone know of another tool that can do what we need?
Thank you!
