Since the previous product idea was closed after only being implemented in comments, I'm re-requesting it for code formatting in Task DESCRIPTION.

This feature would be valued by our team if it was made available.

It seems that Wrike is using the Quill Rich Text Editor? If so, then from this distance it seems that adding support for their code-blocks is probably pretty straightforwward.

So I'm guessing that some of the reluctance to add this switch here is due to complications it might cause elsewhere in wrike that aren't obvious to outsiders like me?

Anyway, please accept this as my enthusiastic endorsement of this feature request ;-).

Thank you for sharing your input about this suggestion. The Product team are interested in this feature, but as they are prioritizing other aspects of Wrike, there are currently no plans to add this to the short-term roadmap. If there are any updates here, I'll be sure to let you know.
