Communicating and collaborating on tasks via Wrike comments, email, inbox, and streams is way too slow. It's so much quicker and easier to discuss a task in Slack - but then that discussion can't be easily tied to the task that was discussed. And with an increasingly remote workforce, discussion via Slack or Teams or whatever is the main way work is discussed.
If Wrike included chat tied to each task we could discuss tasks live where they should be discussed, and have that discussion captured in the task itself. Failing that, perhaps Wrike could partner with Slack to embed chat within Wrike (automatically creating channels for projects or tasks, with UI to view or tie them to specific tasks).
I've searched these forums and found this has been suggested since 2017 or thereabouts and despite a lot of upvotes is currently "not planned". That's too bad. Wrike has a fresh and modern feel (coming from Jira) and I feel could implement a per-task or per-project chat very well. And supporting more interactive communication is key to the future of remote work.
