Customizable Location Field in Reports and other Views

Please make the location customizable regarding its content. It shows only the lowest level of the locations hierarchy currently. We desperately need other levels displayable und groupable. Its not only about displaying but also about grouping.

It would be perfect to be able to define what to display like: "top+1", "2", "2-5", "bottom-2", "bottom", "top", "all", "top:3", "bottom:2"

top: display only first hierarchy level
bottom: display lowest level - as it is right now
top+1: first and second level
2: only level 2
2-5: levels 2 to five
bottom-2: the lowest 3 levels
all: all levels
top:3: the third level from top
bottom:2: the second level up from bottom

What a great idea, Thomas!
This would be really helpful in our situation, where we have a regular project structure like this:
Portfolio Folder
    Project Folder
        Project RAID Folder
              Risk Items
              Issue Items
              etc etc

In our Risk dashboard, we can't easily show the name of the project that the risks belong to without having an additional Project Name custom field that needs to be filled in - leading to much duplication of data entry.

It would be so much simpler if we could specify how far up the tree we want to grab a name from!
