Wrike Product Team:
I have been working on migrating several forms over to Wrike to take advantage of the direct task/subtask creation capability from the form. The current pilot version is workable and includes manual steps on the backend after tasks are created, yet I think there could be additional enhancements on the request forms that would help in our use cases.
- The ability to add a drop-down list/picker that could allow a user to either scroll through a list or type the name/ID of an existing task and select it. The initial use case would be to simply record the information as text to be used as a reference. A future use case could be to have a new subtask created below the original task through request form automation.
- In our particular forms, we use the date fields commonly and we have a need in some instances to have a field that can be used for entering the time of day. We are currently using a single line text field.
- Our request forms generate multiple subtasks in some cases and it would be very useful for fields in the parent request task to be automatically copied to the subtasks (assuming the same fields exist in parent and child tasks). We are having to do that manually right now which is not very efficient and error prone.
- We use the ability to add a prefix to subtasks in request forms quite heavily, there are a few scenarios where having the ability to have a different prefix added to a subtask depending on the branching would be very helpful.
Thank You,
Adam
