On Hold Statuses Currently Calculating in Workload

Currently, projects in "On Hold" or "Canceled" statuses in Workload still calculate allocated effort for assignees. Even though On Hold removes the project from the workload view the time/effort is still calculated for assignees making it impossible to get an accurate picture of their actual allocated time. Please consider making On Hold or Canceled an option that would not calculate into workload/allocated effort in order for time allocation to be accurately determined per assignee.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately what we are seeing is that even with filtered tasks on, we are seeing allocated effort still being calculated for on-hold or canceled projects. Is this a bug or are we missing an additional step here?

Hello, Can someone point me in the right direction of how this was solved? We are running into this issue as well and would like to understand how to make it work appropriately.

This is really a missing feature. It is wrong by design to include the effort of On hold or Canceled tasks. What else is the whole purpose of having this category of deferred tasks? At the very least give users the possiblity to choose what to include in the total effort calculation as per option below. It would be great if you could at least toggle On Hold/Cancelled. Now it is useless to put a task on hold if it still shows in the totals.
