Filter Ability on Global Search

It would be really nice if there was more filtering capability in the Global Search in Wrike. I would love to be able to only search "completed" tasks, or "active" task, or at least sort the search results by status group.

Thanks for posting! After entering the words you’re searching for, click the Green Search button. You’ll then see a window where you can add filters, search by relevance, and more. Does this help with your use case?

Hello @Fabien BRIAND 👋 At the moment, there is no single account‑wide switch to “hide completed everywhere by default.” In Global Search, you can filter results to show only active items, but this needs to be applied each time you perform a search.

However, in Table view you can:

Open the relevant space/folder/project
Open Filters
Under the Status option, click on the “is not” filter and select the status groups that should not be visible

Then set these filters as default by clicking on the three dots and selecting “Set filters as default”

I understand this is not as simple as a global toggle, but I hope this workaround helps you. If there are any further updates, we'll be sure to let you know 👍
