Labs - New Home Screen

Hey Guys!

The new home screen is awesome, although, it feels a little empty, it would be great if we could add widgets here.

For example;

Most frequently visited spaces
Most frequently visited projects / folders
Add in a dashboard view to the home page
Widget to view this weeks Timesheet
Licensing Overview including plan etc.

I agree that it's sparse and has room for better metrics, infographics, etc.

Hi Lisa!

Has there been any further discussions internally around enhancing the new home screen? We're keen to switch over but feel that the current home screen gives us greater access and an easier way to access reports / dashboards etc for users that aren't power users

Hi @Nathan Lane! As we mentioned in this post, with everything available in the sidebar, we've eliminated the need for a Home page, allowing you to jump right back into your work, so the Wrike Lightspeed experience will not have a home page. At the same time, we are adding different items of it to other places in the workspace, and we'll keep you posted on where to find all of these with the new experience.

Current Challenge: The left navigation panel becomes inefficient when managing numerous projects and dashboards that I need to access daily. Having to repeatedly expand and collapse sections creates unnecessary clicks and disrupts my workflow.

Impact on Productivity:

Time is wasted scrolling through the left panel to find relevant items
Window state persistence requires manual adjustment each time
Navigating between different spaces requires additional steps

Value of the Previous Home Screen: The home screen served as a personalized dashboard that provided:

Quick access to my most-used projects and resources
Simplified navigation between different spaces
A clean, uncluttered starting point for daily work

When I was first onboarded to Wrike, the home screen was highlighted as a key productivity feature during training. Learning that it had been discontinued at my new company was disappointing as it significantly impacts my efficiency.

Request: Please consider reinstating the home screen functionality to improve navigation efficiency and reduce the number of clicks required for daily workflows.

Hi @Roshonda Davis-Cheadle, thanks for sharing your detailed feedback!

We’ve released a feature that lets you set a Dashboard as your homepage. Open the three-dot menu next to the dashboard in the left navigation panel and select “Set as my Home.” The selected dashboard will appear as your homepage whenever you log in or click the Wrike logo. For more information, please see our Help Center article. I hope this helps!
