Turn of the Inbox notification

Hi,

as I try to stay with effective time management I do not want to be disturbed by messages when I am working. Unfortunately I am working in Wrike and Wrike always show up a number when a new message comes to the Inbox.

How can I turn off the notification of the Inbox? I want to have a look into the Inbox perhaps 3 or 4 times a day liek I do it with mails, but not to be disrupted every some minutes with this notification sign. and

It's possible to snooze and/or turn-off Inbox notifications.

To do it, click on the clock icon and select how long you'd like to snooze a notification.

You can also turn off certain notifications from Settings. Click on Email Preferences and scroll down to Product Reminders.

Hi @[Deleted User], no that does not help.

This turns of notifications by mail. This we have already turned off for everything as it is not usefull to be notified in Wrike and Mail.

The problem is the small number in the letter icon (also seen in your first screenshot) and also in the App Icon in the Windows bar. See my screenshots in first post. This is a time killer. I do not want to be disturbed when I am working. So for Outlook (as an example) you can turn of this sign. So new mail are coming in but you do not get a notoication. So you can work without disturbance and can have a look in the inboox when you want.

Messenger like Outlook, MS Teams or Wrike are no immediate action things. They are checked perhaps two to four times a day. If something is urgen there is a phone.

So I want to get notifications in my Wrike Inbox so I can open it and see what came the last few hours. Thats fine and necessary. But I do not want that Wrike shows me that immediately via the task symbol or in Wrike in the letter symbol. This means it attracts my attention and disturbs my work (for which it should support me).

Hi @Sven Passinger, hope you don't mind me jumping in for Cansu here.

Thank you for clarifying your suggestion. From what I understood, you would like to hide the unread notifications indicator. Personally, I get quite a lot of them during the day and have a specified time for getting to those. But I can see how it might be disturbing to see that red indicator when it's not yet the time to check your notifications.

I'm going to move your post to the Product Feedback section. Let's see if other Community members support this idea.

Yes, my team is also looking for the option to turn off the Inbox notifications, as they keep track of their tasks through Dashboards, they would like the option to choose each person if they want to see notifications in their in box or not.

Hi @Andreas Tag ! Welcome to the Wrike Community. 🎉

I believe it should be possible to remove the notification icon from your notification settings. On Mac, you can go to System Settings → Notifications, scroll down to find the Wrike application, and toggle off "Badge Application icon." I couldn't try this out on Windows, but based on what I found, you can go to Settings → Personalization → Taskbar Behavior, and untick "Show badges."
