Hi! I would love a calendar view of my overall dashboard. I am more of a visual person, so seeing tasks on a calendar by the due date makes it easier for me. (I'm not an admin by the way)

just go for it!
You can create your own calendar views as you like!
For example, you could add a new calendar in your personal space and give it your name. Then you could add layers that show tasks assigned to you, each layer for a space. Just try it out!
