Automations triggered by specific users updating statuses

Is there a way for an automation to trigger based on whether a specific user updates a status? 

The automation "User who Triggered the Rule" exists when adding/removing specific users and rules based on specific reviewers exist. But I have not found a way to otherwise trigger actions based on the actions of specific users.

Would this be helpful to anyone else?

As you mentioned, there isn’t currently a direct way to trigger automations specifically based on a status update performed by a particular user. I’ve shared your post with the Product Team.
