Multiple Assignees - Done with My Part

Hi there, I would love to see a feature added when multiple assignees are assigned to one task. The ability for an individual to make when they are done with their portion of the task would be helpful. In some instances, I may be complete with my portion of the task, and want to get it into the completed section of my dashboard but cannot do so without marking the task complete for all of the assignees. Allowing individual assignees to make it complete with maybe a percentage complete feature would be ideal.

The most common workaround is to create individual subtasks for each assignee under the main task. Each person can mark their subtask as complete, and the main task can be set to auto-complete when all subtasks are done. This also allows for granular tracking. That said, what you have suggested makes total sense, so I have passed your feedback on to our Product team. 👍🏽

I totally second Basudha's suggestion - that's why subtasks should be used instead of adding multiple assignees. I can understand that in some cases creating subtasks is to much work - so I suggest another very simple workaround: I f you have only a small part to do and you are not the main responsible person (who has to ensure the whole task is completed) just remove yourself as assignee, once you're done with your part!
