Using a task to trigger a request form

I would like to create a task that triggers a user to fill out a request form.

Basically, when a new client comes in I want our creative director to get a trigger to fill out a request form with the necessary info about the client. Instead of using the request form to create a task, I want to create a task that reminds our CD to fill out the form.

Just a question, how would the task be created when a new client comes in? I guess how would your CD know that a new client came in?

Good question Ryan and it's exactly along the lines of what I'm thinking as a workaround.

All admins receive an email letting them know someone has joined the account. If using Gmail, you can use our Zapier integration to create a task in Wrike everytime this email is received.

Go here to see the full Zapier rule I'm referring to. With their Free option you can have up to 100 'Zaps' per month.

To recap:

A Zapier rule is set up to create a Wrike task from the 'new user' email sent to Wrike admins when someone new joins the account (you'll need to label this email in Gmail).
The tasks are added to a newly created Folder e.g. 'Newcomers for Creative Director'.
Creative Director is responsible for action items landing in this Project.

This is certainly a workaround, but it should work for you and is less complicated than it might sound. Let me know what you think or if you need help setting it up!

Hi I am trying to do something similar; only we internally create the task. I would like the task to trigger a request form. where or how would I be able to do that?

At the moment, it isn’t possible to trigger a request form directly from a task. Request forms can be used as the starting point for creating tasks, projects, or custom item types, they aren’t intended to be launched from an existing task or via a workflow action.
