View by Quarters in Timeline View

In the timeline view if I zoom out to view by Quarters, I was wondering if I could change the months associated to a particular Quarter? E.g. Q1 is currently Jan, Feb, Mar; I would want to change to June, July, and Aug, with the following quarters following after that.

Hi all, have you tried the New Table view in Labs?

It allows you to select how you want the timeline displayed.

Hi Stephen - I think what we're looking for here is the ability for the Timeline view to label the quarters based on how our fiscal year flows. There is an account-level setting to state what month our fiscal year begins. In my case, our fiscal year starts in May. This maps over to Calendars, which now correctly show that my Q1 is May, June, and July. It would be great for the Timeline view to also read this setting and show quarters as the correspond to my company's fiscal year and not the calendar year.

I turned on the "New Table View" in labs, and my screen does not look like the screen you posted. Yours looks like a Gantt Chart View.

I also echo other users here, that my company fiscal quarter (Q1 starts in July) does not follow the typical calendar (Q1 starts in January).

I wish that Wrike have a customizable calendar settings where the admin can specify which month is my starting Fiscal Quarter.

@Tach Hi, thanks for posting 🙂 Choosing the First Month of a Fiscal Year is available in Calendars to Admins on Business and Enterprise accounts - please check out the Help Center article.

Hi Lisa - I think you're mis-understanding what our request is here. Changing the first month of the fiscal year in account settings ONLY applies to Calendars. We'd like to have the option in the Timeline or Gantt Chart view to also have the quarters align with our fiscal year as well.

Hi Lisa - you're correct that an admin on Wrike Business/Enterprise account (like me) can change Fiscal Year setting. But this does not change how the Gantt Chart View shows Q1/Q2...

As demonstrated here, I set my account's Fiscal Year start in May.

But the Gantt Chart view does not reflect this setting, by still showing the Q1 starts in January.

Also chiming in here - upvoted, as well. I noticed you sent a note here on April 3, 2019 regarding the ability to set the first month of a fiscal for certain types of accounts (we have this option in ours). We set our first month of the fiscal to November, however the Quarters displayed still don't align, making this setting futile. Would love to see this post from 2017 be taken into consideration for updates in the very near future!
