How to get all Task Blueprints in a Folder Blueprint (Space Level)?

Question

I have looked up several discussions about pulling data of Folder Blueprints and Task Blueprints but I could not find a way to pull Task Blueprints within a specific Folder Blueprints.

- No supported request params to filter parentFolderId for Task Blueprints

- No response fields of the Task Blueprints would show the parentFolderId/parentId

- No childTaskId available for the Folder Blueprints response

Please help! 😓

I feel your pain—the API limitations regarding Blueprint hierarchies can be quite tricky. I managed to solve this using a workaround that might work for you as well.

Since Wrike doesn't provide a direct way to filter Task Blueprints by their parent Folder Blueprint via API, I use Wrike Integrate to create a "bridge."

Here is my workflow:

* I have a recipe that fetches all Project and Task Blueprints.
* For each Blueprint, the recipe creates a "shadow" task in a dedicated technical folder.
* Each task stores the Blueprint ID (usually in a Custom Field or the description), the name, and other relevant metadata.

This way, whenever I need to find which Task Blueprints belong to a specific Folder, I simply query that "Index Folder." Once I have the correct Blueprint ID from the task, I can trigger the asynchronous creation call as usual.

It basically acts as a searchable directory for your Blueprints!
