I work for demanddrive and wnat to make the most out of the software we are provided. SO far I am not certain what Wrike is supposed to do in the position I occupy (Business Development) Thoughts and advice are welcome
Hi @Gregory Leo Cane 🙋‍♂️ thanks for posting! Here are some of the features that may help with your role:
My To‑Do: shows all tasks assigned to you across spaces, sorted by date and importance, so you always know what needs your attention today and what’s coming up next.
Dashboards: gives you simple, focused views like: “Today’s tasks,” “This week’s follow‑ups,” or “Overdue items,” so you can quickly see what to work on without searching through folders.
Submit structured requests via Request forms and track their status in Board or Table view.
Use Blueprints for standard sequences, so tasks, owners, and due dates are pre‑defined each time.
Use Calendars or Gantt Chart to see campaigns and milestones, and add dependencies to understand blockers and what’s coming next.

The elearning is what prompted my question, I have no idea on how to use Wrike to accomplish these tasks as above and it says contact administrator can you help?
Hi @Gregory Leo Cane thanks for the follow‑up and for going through the eLearning.
It’s completely normal to feel unsure at first, especially when you’re trying to connect Wrike to your specific role and daily work.
When the eLearning says “contact your administrator,” it means the person in your organization who manages your Wrike account (often IT/Ops, a team lead, or an internal Wrike champion). They can enable features, adjust permissions, or set up the spaces and structures you’ll work in. If something shown in the training isn’t visible in your workspace (buttons, views, request forms, etc.), that usually means your admin needs to switch it on or give you access.
I can try to help you translate your BD workflows into Wrike. The easiest way is to start with one real example. Could you share one typical scenario you handle, for example:
“I need to show my manager which deals I moved forward or closed this week.”
If you describe one or two concrete scenarios like that, I can walk you through the exact steps in Wrike (which features to use, where to click, and a simple workflow you can follow).
