How to link standardized Project Charters to Wrike folders?

Hello Wrike Community,

I’m currently architecting a workflow where we use Wrike Request Forms for intake, but our steering committee still requires a standardized 'Project Charter' and 'RAID Log' for our monthly audits.

My question: Does anyone else find that executive stakeholders prefer these standardized external documents (PDF/Docx) over looking directly at Wrike tasks, or have you successfully transitioned your leadership to be 'Wrike-only' for project approvals?

I’ve been looking at the governance artifacts on projectmanagertemplate.com to use as our 'Gold Standard' for these documents, and then attaching the finalized versions back to the Wrike project folder.

I'd love to hear how you handle formal project initiation documentation!"

Thankyou Brandon - That’s a great tip about using Blueprints, I will give this a try! I’ve been trying to bridge the gap between those formal projectmanagertemplate.com standards and the actual day-to-day work in Wrike, so pre-loading them into a Blueprint sounds like a great way to keep everything centralized. Appreciate the great insight.

@Michelle M We have built our process very similar to this. While the process is now entirely within Wrike, we previously did have actual documents that we used as well that had to be included within the Wrike task. The best way I found to do this was to create a Blueprint for your projects with whatever documents or templates you need attached to individual tasks. The project would then be opened, the information would flow into the task, and then a user would have the external template always attached in the same place. They would still need to fill the template out manually, though.
