Automations - Able to change a parent Project status based on a sub-child status?

Question

This seems fairly simple but I can't figure it out… I have a project with sub-tasks. When the final task is marked complete, I want the parent Project to also change status (the project status is currently independent and needs to be manually updated).

Specifically:

My final task is a custom item type ("Shipping")

In Automations, I chose. to apply the rule to that custom item type

When that item type's status changes to Delivered…

this is the disconnect - I only see "change item status to" or "change all direct tasks subitem statues" none of which relate to the parent status.

Ouh sorry, It is the other way that is not possible with wrike automation standard module, make changes in projects asociated to a task, I have not found the way to get the project in the automation, so those I do need to do them in workato.

Case: Lets say I created a new task, and need to copy some values saved in custom fields from the project to the task, e.g. Client, or Project leader.

I did it in Wrike "Automations" process. Settled it like if all subitems are "Completed" change status to "Completed" and that works fine.

you can also add a standard automation on Project. When all subitems are completed → change project status

It works well, but it only see tasks of the project, not sub-tasks.

I'm pretty sure you can do it also by Agents AI.
