Show an average trend line on a line chart

Question

Hello! Hoping someone may have some insight here! I have the following chart:

This is calculating the total of average of two numeric custom fields (value on y) per project (x). I want to show the average across these values as a trend line but not sure how I would arrive at this calculation. I tried to use the ALL function to basically ignore the project name but I don't think this was right.

For some reason the "Analysis" option isn't available to me on this chart… I assume because there is no date value?

This is expected behavior in Wrike Analyze because the Analysis (trend line) feature is only available when the visualization contains a date-based dimension. Since your X-axis is currently Project, Wrike doesn’t enable the Analysis option.

The easiest workaround is to add a date field (for example: Project Start Date, Due Date, Created Date, or a Sprint Date if you have one) to the chart. Once a date hierarchy is present in the visualization, the Analysis option should become available and you’ll be able to add the trend line.

If you want the chart to still show results by project, you can keep Project on the axis and simply include the date field in the visualization so Wrike treats it as a time-based dataset.
