Question

Is it possible to have a form generate a new line item in a database? It feels like it should be a simple function, but I'm having trouble figuring it out or finding any info about it. For example, we have an excel that tracks all of our events. If I have a form where someone tells me the name of an event, the date, and maybe a couple other pieces of data, I'd like that to be added to a database.

@Katelyn Pullman till now the only way is to use a third party software, like Wrike Integrate or N8N.

Form populate items in a certain location, for each item created with Wrike Integrate you can grab values and populate a specific database.

Hi @Katelyn Pullman, I think request forms can not directly add a new line in a database. But as a walk around you could generate a new custom item type with a request form. This CIT can have custom fields which can be filled by a request form. If you put them into one folder you have tha table view which can use full Wrike functionality (e.g. automations). Perhaps that is an idea for you. The limitation I see is if you have related data. So if you want to combine your event data with a location datatbase or customer database than this suggestion will get to it's limits I think.
