I am new to Wrike, and we have set up multiple Spaces to track work being done on several strategic initiatives. The team members on these initiatives are decentralized and the teams meet every-other-week. My question:
I would like to create incorporate a way for team members to pose questions to discuss when the team meets. Is this a good idea to do this within the space, if so, how should I set this up? My thought is to create a project called Discussion topics with each subtask being a question and then create a custom status to reflect an open/answered question.

@Joe Tamney, yes, I’d just recommend keeping the structure as simple as possible.

Instead of a project with subtasks, I would create a dedicated folder called something like Discussion Topics or Team Questions within the Space, and then have each question submitted as its own task. From there, you could use either custom statuses or a custom field to track something like New, For Discussion, Answered, or Deferred.

This gives your team an easy place to capture questions between meetings, and it also creates a searchable record of what was asked and resolved.

A few things that would make it even more useful would be to include fields such as initiative, owner, meeting date, or priority… create a filtered view for open items only… and document the answer in the task comments or description after the meeting.

I’d only use subtasks if the questions are part of a larger discussion item. Otherwise, one task per question is much cleaner and easier to maintain in my opinion.
