Feature Updates
- Dashboards: Images in Text Widgets and Expanded Drill-Downs 📊
Dashboards now offer more ways to customize widgets and explore data, with support for images in text widgets and additional drill-down options across chart and task-based widgets.
What’s new?
-Add images to text widgets for branding, illustration, or added context.
-Include multiple images in a single text widget.
-Resize images freely within the widget.
New metrics in task-based widgets now support drill-downs:
- Duration
- Time to completion
- Time overdue
- Time spent
- Billable and non-billable time spent
- Effort
- Approvals and approval duration
- Pending, overdue, and completed approvals
New dimensions in all widgets now support drill-downs:
- Checkbox
- Date
- Dropdown
- Lookup
- Multiple-select
- Text
- User custom fields
How it works:
-Add one or more images directly into a text widget and resize them as needed.
-New drilldowns: just build a chart where one of the metrics/drill-downs listed above is used and drill down into that chart. Available drill-downs are now indicated by a hand icon.
Availability:
-Images in text widgets are available to all users.
-Some drill-down capabilities depend on the metrics available in your plan.
The new Whiteboards page is now available for all new and existing accounts with the Visual Collaboration add-on (both Paid or Trial plans), making it easier to find, open, and create boards in one central place.
What’s new?
- Access a dedicated Whiteboards page from the main navigation menu.
- Find all boards linked to Wrike tasks, folders, projects, and spaces in one central catalog.
- Use the "Recents" and "Shared with me" tabs to quickly find accessible boards.
- View board details with columns such as "Author", "Created date", "Last edited date", and "Last viewed by me".
- Sort boards by any of these columns, with "Last viewed by me" set as the default sorting option.
- Create new boards directly from the Whiteboards page.- Open and collaborate on boards without leaving Wrike.
Permissions and Access:
- The Whiteboards page follows Wrike’s existing location-based permissions.
- If you can access the related task, project, folder, or space, you’ll be able to see the attached board in the Whiteboards page.
- If a board is set to Restricted sharing, that setting still applies.

We’ve made two updates to the Klaxoon Whiteboard toolbar to create a more intuitive board experience and give you more flexibility in how you use your screen space.
What’s new?
- Drag and drop sticky notes directly from the toolbar onto the board.
- Drag sticky notes from the sticky notes submenu and place them exactly where you want.
- Switch the toolbar from a horizontal layout to a vertical layout on the desktop.
These updates are designed to make creating on Boards feel more natural while helping you optimize your workspace.

What’s new?
- Generate documents from Wrike work using templates
- Pull in project, task, and custom field data
- Trigger document generation based on workflow status changes
- Save regenerated files as new versions in Wrike
This is especially helpful for proposals, statements of work, status reports, and executive updates.
