I would like to suggest a small adjustment to line numbering in Table View that could reduce confusion when collaborating with others.
In a recent discussion with colleagues, we realized we were referencing different task line numbers for the same items. The discrepancy came from the fact that I had the parent row enabled in my view (screenshot attached), while my colleague did not. Because the parent row is counted as row 1, every task line number was offset by one.
To help avoid this issue, I would like to propose labeling the parent row (the project title) as Line 0 instead of Line 1. This would make task numbering more intuitive and consistent across conversations, especially when team members are using different view settings.
This kind of mismatch can create confusion not only in live discussions, but also when referencing tasks in comments or project updates.
