EXAMPLE TASK
Assume today is 2026-4-23 and you want to filter for dates in the past month up to and including today (2026-3-1 - 2026-4-23).
PROBLEM
The relative date ranges apply to last or next complete time periods. In other words, they exclude the incomplete part of the current time period.
For example:
Last N days → excludes today (ends 2026-4-22).
Last N months → excludes current month (ends 2026-3-31).
Last N weeks → excludes current week (ends 2026-4-18).
Last N quarters → excludes current quarter (ends 2026-3-31).
Last N years → excludes current year (ends 2025-12-31).
Likewise with the "Next" time periods → they exclude the remaining part of the current time period.
PITFALL
Current time period includes both past and future parts. So, can't use "This month" since it spans 2026-4-1 - 2026-4-30 (includes days before AND after 4-23).
WORKAROUND
Use a filter group (match ANY filter):
• Last 1 month (covers 2026-3-1 - 2026-3-31).
• Last 30 days (won't go earlier than "Last 1 month", but covers current month even if it's the last day of the current month).
• This day (covers today).
