As Owner how do I get the notification if someone requests an approval on a task?
Hi @Fabio Genua, approval request notifications are sent to the selected approver(s), not automatically to the task owner. If the owner also needs to be notified, the best options are:
There isn’t a separate “notify owner when approval is requested” setting, but you can handle it through assignment/following, notification settings, or automation.
You could also set up a dashboard widget for better visibility. Instead of relying on a single notification that might get buried, a dashboard widget would help to monitor all pending approvals in real-time. Simply create a custom widget and filter tasks by Approval Status (e.g., "Pending Approval"). This allows you to see exactly which of your tasks are currently waiting for a sign-off.
