New filters in Chart widgets

Hi all,

I'm not sure if it was suggested elsewhere, but it would be fantastic if Chart widgets* in Dashboards would have the same level of advanced filtering as Table widgets.

This would make for a consistent experience across both widget types. Oftentimes, we create Chart widgets to accompany a Table widget; the idea being to visualize the Table with the same filters, just broken down in a specific way. It currently isn't possible especially since Chart widgets can't blend Tasks and Projects like Table widgets can at the moment.

*Chart widgets including subtypes like the Gauge, Indicator count, Donut graphs, Column graphs, etc.

Hi @Anna Giacobbe 👋 the new filters are now the default for Chart Widgets as well, as mentioned in this weekly release notes. I noticed your comment on that post too! :)

I think the only remaining piece that would make this functional for us if Chart widgets, like Table widgets, can blend tasks and projects (and all their CITs!). Fingers crossed :)
