Database back up and export

Question

Are you able to export / back up the data in a Wrike database? All the help articles I can find talk about projects, tasks, and folders, so I'm unclear on how/if that information applies to the database function. As of today, I can't easily find a way to export the database information to an excel.

For anyone searching for this, this is the reply I received:

At the moment, there is no native option to back up/export a Database/DataHub table directly from the Wrike interface.

As a workaround, you can copy the database content from the table and paste it into Excel or use the Wrike API to extract the database data programmatically. You can find more details in our developer documentation here: (got a page not found error)

If your goal is mainly to keep the data in a format that is easier to export, then using projects with custom item types could be an alternative depending on your workflow. Project and task data has more built-in export options to Excel.
