Hello,

When scrolling the viewing area moving from left to right, if you click on the view that aligns to a task that has no date set it changes the date of the task, is it possible to prevent this from happening, Can i restrict users to a view only approach for this.

Hi @marcus clarke, thank you for posting!
At the moment we do not have permissions in the Gantt chart based on user roles or groups. You can limit the permissions at project level though, can this work for you?
