Overview
Once the space is created using the template, you will find pre-configured folders:
- 00_Rushed Projects
- 01_Unassigned Projects
- 02_In Progress
- 03_Completed
In the Tools section, you will find a dedicated Creative Team Overview Dashboard configured to keep a bird's-eye view on:
- Requests by project type
- Requests by Department
- Active projects this month and more
This dashboard ensures that creative directors, copywriters, and designers all have a single source of truth for daily workload management.
Now let’s take a closer look 👀
The foundation of a smooth creative process starts with getting the right information upfront. This template includes pre-built Request Form that act as dynamic creative briefs. When external stakeholders or internal managers need an asset, they fill out the form, and a structured item is automatically generated in your intake folder with all necessary requirements.
From there, you can utilize the pre-built Blueprints to spin up recurring project structures instantly. The template leverages Custom Item Types and Custom Fields designed specifically for marketing deliverables, ensuring you track exactly what matters.
The standout feature here is the "Rushed" custom field. If a request is marked as Rushed, it is automatically added to the "Rushed Projects" folder.
Included Automations 👇
To cut down on the administrative burden for creative leads, this template includes built-in automation rules. For example, projects automatically route to their respective folders when statuses are updated. This instantly moves a project to the Completed folder when its status changes to “Completed”, or moves it to the In Progress folder when the status changes to "Planned and Assigned" or "Requires Clarification."
We hope this template overview was helpful! Special thanks to Zita Cajthaml for creating and sharing this template with the Wrike Community so other users can benefit from it as well 🙏
The Creative Marketing Workflow template is the perfect framework for any marketing or creative team looking to eliminate process chaos, improve multi-channel collaboration, and launch beautifully polished campaigns on time.
