Hourly rates in a formula

Dear all,

Is there any any way to use the hourly rates in a formula of a custom field?

I don't find anything about it in the help. We already use the planned cost/fees and actual cost/fees fields, but we need other custom fields with formulas that work with the hourly rates.

I would like to know this as well.  We have some vendors that we only mark up half their fees, so I ended up creating an Hourly Rate field and a Custom Fees formula field that is (([Effort]/2)*[Hourly Rate])*0.1+([Effort]*[Hourly Rate]).

It would be nice to be able to pull in the hourly rate from their Job Role rather than having to use the hourly rate custom field.
