How to Install This Template
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select Templates & Solutions.
- Under the Created by Community section, select Community.
- Search for Architecture Engineering Construction Projects and click Use template.

Workspace Overview
Once you install the template, you will find a pre-configured template folder called “Project Program Startup Template” to help keep your initiatives organized from day one.
Within this folder, you will find a project-based Custom Item Type (CIT) named PPS Startup Template. This CIT houses detailed sub-items divided by multiple steps, and each step includes its own specific item type to help standardize your workflow.
For example, in PPS Step 1: Resource Planning, you can see sub-items mapped out sequentially for each step from start to finish.

1. Sub-Item Progress Indication
A key factor to note in this workspace is that the main sub-items include a built-in Project progress indication. This feature gives you an overview in terms of percentage, showing exactly what level each step is at before it is completed, helping teams maintain clear visibility into task completion.
2. Connected Scheduling via Gantt Chart View
Combining these structured steps with the Gantt Chart View, it is clearly visible how each piece of a step is interconnected. The template relies on standard dependency paths to manage complex sequencing:
- FS = Finish-to-Start
- SF = Start-to-Finish
- SS = Start-to-Start
This structure enables teams to effectively schedule tasks, visualize project timelines, and track execution progress at every individual phase.
