This week, we’re diving into the Marketing Campaigns for a Bank template created by @Bonne Turner! 🚀
Managing marketing initiatives within the banking sector requires coordinating a massive web of internal stakeholders, strict regulatory guardrails, and multiple product lines. When campaign requests are scattered across emails and chats, it becomes difficult to maintain cross-divisional visibility or track which channels are performing best. This template provides a centralized system to capture, assign, and execute banking campaigns. By structuring your intake and automation, you can ensure every initiative seamlessly aligns with your operational goals.

Let’s Take a Closer Look 👀
Managing banking campaigns consistently requires structured intake and clear cross-divisional reporting. Here is how this template supports your campaign execution:
1. Work Intake with the "Marketing Project Request" Form
This template features a comprehensive and highly detailed Marketing Project Request form designed to adapt to your specific intake needs. It dynamically captures varied pieces of information based on the department, user needs, or specific campaign type, ensuring all crucial requirements, target details, and timelines are meticulously gathered upfront for a seamless project start.
2. Automated Blueprints
The template includes pre-built blueprints for common marketing outputs, such as:
- Social Media Request
- PR Task
- Website Change Request
Depending on the selections made within the request form, the template automatically selects and creates the corresponding items from the blueprint. The form data maps directly to your backend Custom Fields, Custom Item Types, and Custom Workflows, helping streamline data collection and reducing manual task creation.
3. Pre-Built Automations
The template also includes built-in automation rules to help manage task locations. For example, when a Social Media Task is created, an automation rule automatically moves it into the designated Digital Communications folder, keeping the workspace organized without manual intervention.
4. High-Level Dashboards
The template includes two dashboards to keep teams and stakeholders informed without relying on separate status update requests:
- Template Overview Dashboard: Provides internal instructions and tips on how to use the workspace.
- Campaign Overview Dashboard: Delivers a high-level view of active projects, displaying metrics like the number of campaigns requested and campaigns broken down by bank division.
Customize the Space for Your Needs
This template provides a starting point that organizations can adapt to fit their own internal processes. You can further customize the workspace by exploring the following options:
- Refine the Intake: Add or modify questions in the Request Form to capture the exact information your legal or brand teams require.
- Track Important Parameters: Adjust Custom Fields to better reflect essential campaign request details, target products, or financial metrics.
- Define Types of Work: Update or add new Custom Item Types to match the precise types of collateral your creative teams handle.
- Map Approval Lifecycles: Tailor Workflows by adding or changing stages to fit the specific review and sign-off processes your bank uses.
- Reorganize Structure: Adjust the Folder structure according to your specific team or division setup.
We hope this template overview is helpful as you review approaches to managing financial marketing initiatives.
