Dashboard parameterisation via URL / parametrized links

I’m exploring the new Dashboard Parameterisation feature described here: Dashboard Parameterisation in Wrike.

I understand that dashboard parameters can be used to dynamically filter multiple widgets based on values such as people, priority, locations, or custom fields.

It would be very useful to have a way to populate a dashboard parameter directly through the dashboard URL.

For example, assuming I have a dashboard with a parameter called Project, it would be great to create links like:

https://www.wrike.com/.../dashboard/XXXXX?Project=PROJECT_ID

so that opening the link automatically sets the Project parameter to the specified value.

The goal would be to create dynamic/deep links to the same dashboard, for example:

• Link A → opens the dashboard filtered for Project A
• Link B → opens the same dashboard filtered for Project B
• Link C → opens the same dashboard filtered for Project C

This would be particularly useful for linking to dashboards from external systems, Wrike custom fields, automation workflows, or other Wrike items, without having to create a separate dashboard for each context.

Is URL-based dashboard parameterisation currently supported or planned? If not, I think this could be a useful addition to the Dashboard Parameterisation feature.

Alternatively, is there already another way to achieve the same result, for example through an API, permalink syntax, or URL parameters?

Hi @Pietro Poli, thank you for the detailed feedback!
I spoke with our Product team - we have user-level parameters planned for Q4, and they should address most of your need: you will be able to select and retain your own parameter values in a session without changing the dashboard defaults for others. You would need to select the value in the dashboard rather than pass it through the URL. We'll keep you posted on when this is released.
Until then, duplication of the dashboard is the closest alternative, but it creates separate dashboards whose widgets and settings must be maintained independently, so we don't recommend it at scale.
