Hi everyone,
My name is Julian, and I’m part of the leadership team at an advertising agency in Argentina.
I’d like to share a suggestion regarding storage. Our current Wrike plan is limited to 20 GB of storage, which can fill up quite quickly for an advertising agency, where we constantly work with large files such as videos, images, presentations, and other creative assets.
As a result, every so often we have to go through old projects, delete files from Wrike, and move them to Google Drive for long-term storage. It works, but it’s a rather manual process and requires us to constantly manage our storage.
This made us think: what if Wrike and Google Drive could work together more closely?
Since we already have unlimited storage in Google Drive, it would be incredibly useful to have an integration that allows files to be automatically archived or stored in Google Drive while still being accessible from within Wrike.
For example, once a project or file reaches a certain age, Wrike could automatically move the file to a designated Google Drive folder, while keeping the file or a link to it available within the Wrike project.
We believe this could be a win-win-win solution:
- For Wrike: less storage consumption on your servers and a more scalable solution for storage-heavy industries.
- For Google Drive: deeper integration with a platform like Wrike and an additional use case for its storage capabilities.
- For users: no need to constantly delete and manually archive old files, while keeping everything organized and accessible.
We love using Wrike to manage our projects, and an integration like this would make it even more valuable for creative and advertising agencies like ours.
Hopefully this is something you could consider for a future update!
Best regards,
Julian
