Changing the Calendar for External Requests to Sunday Start

In my account settings, I have under Date and week setting that the first day of the week for guest users should be Sunday. However, on the external version of our request forms, the calendar shows as a Monday start, which is confusing for my users. Is there a way to change this?

Can you please explain in more detail: by date and week setting for guest users, did you create a separate work schedule and included the guest users in this work schedule? Are these guest users Collaborators? Also, who submits the external Request Forms - the same users that are included in the work schedule where the week starts on Sunday?

Hi Lisa,

Most of the people who will use the form will not be Collaborators - they will be coming through the external publicly available link. When I'm signed in, the form shows a Sunday start calendar when choosing a date, but when I access the form through the external link, the calendar shows a Monday start.

Under Account Management>Settings>Date and Week Settings, we have "First day of the week for Guest users" set to Sunday. I assumed that would mean when there is a date field in an external form, the calendar would start on Sunday but that is not the case.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Settings for Guest Users in Wrike apply for people outside who don't have an account in Wrike and who are invited to an account via email to Review and Approve files. These settings do not apply to non-invited people who submit External Request Forms via public links.

Our users are entering incorrect dates rather frequently due to this issue. Is this a bug fix that is coming soon?

We have the same problem, we have set the beginning of the week to Sunday but the guest users filling out forms are given a display of a calendar with Monday as the first day of the week.

Same problem. On our request forms where have a calendar to pick a start or end date, the built-in calendars default to Mon-Fri with Sat Sun at end: MTWTFSS. How can we change this so the week starts on a Sunday? SMTWTFS

Hello @George Evano, currently, the date-picker Calendars in External Request Forms use Monday as the first day of the week, regardless of your account settings.

The MTWTFSS calendar is a problem for us too. I built this note into the request form but people don't seem to read anything so they keep asking for Saturday dates often and it's a bit maddening.

We have this same issue with requesting choosing the wrong date due to the calendar on request forms starting on Monday, rather than Sunday. Might be a regional difference but from what I understand, here in America, a Sunday start is standard. I'd like to have the option to select a Sunday start, which would avoid the common confusion and mistakes I receive upon getting request forms.

I am upvoting this idea because many non-guests often mistakenly input deadlines as Saturdays instead of Fridays due to the form's week starting on Monday. Since most end users follow a Sunday to Saturday-calendar, it would be helpful to have a custom option for ease of use.

Same problem here. Very confusing for our customers. Reservations are often entered on the wrong day. Would love to have this long-time issue fixed. I have upvoted the post.

I had a request today that the calendar selector on an external Request Form show a SMTWTFS calendar option. Just realized there is no way to change it from MTWTFSS. I was going to use someone's suggestion above that I could put a note to double check the calendar date, but we have Wrike Users who use the form in Wrike and external users using the same form. A note would be confusing since the calendar shows differently for each of them.

Shouldn't this be pretty easy fix since the other calendars in Wrike all start on Sunday as well, at least for our users?
