New Table View- Predecessors Column

I really love the new table view, and with all of the new features I can see myself using this view 99% of the time. The only obstacle to this is the lack of a predecessor column. This column is critical for my work, as I use dependencies with lag and lead times for most tasks. I believe the predecessor column is the only way to establish lag and lead times and I need the ability to view/edit these dependencies at a glance. Are there any plans to implement this?

Agreed, but its not the only thing still missing. No roll-up functionality, no budget column either, if its 'New table' make it the table view but new. Or call it something else?

I believe its been created to deal with larger amounts of info due to the old table using older code. Which great, by all means improve it, but build in the other good table functionality too and then ditch the old laggy and out of date table.

Due to the missing elements this new table view is currently unusable for our projects as its impossible to utilise our financial tracking custom fields we use in 'Table'.

Hi, we see the predecessor column, but I cannot view the new table by predecessor. The new table view is listed by alphabetic order of tasks. How can we view the project tasks by predecessor in the new table view?

Did you click on the start date col so they reorder themselves in start date order? This should show the by date according to predecessor. Make sure arrow is pointing up to see first to last.

I see the Predecessors column has been added to the Table View, but this is the most relevant thread that I can find to ask this question -- how do I read it?

For example, in the below screenshot it's clear that the predecessor to each task is in the row indicated by the number, but what are the "SS" and "FS" appended to the rows?

It would be helpful to understand this so I could assign dependencies to tasks in table view. Right now I either open each task and add them inside it, or switch to Gantt view. I'd prefer to be able to do everything from the Table.

You can type the line item number for each predecessor (or set them up in a blueprint). If you hover over the number you will see the name of the task. I believe they default to FS but you can change it to SS, FF, SF as well. If you have a few SS appearing automatically it may have been because that is how you connected them in Gantt view?

Finish to Start: Task B cannot begin until task A has been completed
Start to Start: Task B cannot begin until task A begins
Finish to Finish: Task B cannot be completed until task A is completed
Start to Finish: Task B cannot be completed until task A begins
