Report on projects/tasks completed on-time

Hi!

I asked this question on a recent webinar, and they suggested I post it here in the community. Wondering if there's a way to build a report for the percentage of projects/tasks completed on-time? Has anyone been able to do that, or is this a possible option for future development?

Hi Paul, I'm so sorry for the late reply here. There's no way to build a Report that automatically calculates how many tasks/Projects are completed on time. There are potential workarounds, (like creating a Custom Field and manually tracking the percentage of tasks/Projects completed on time), but I don't think that is what you are looking for because it would be manual. Please let me know if you are interested in hearing more about that though!

If you're trying to monitor which tasks are overdue we can do that with a Dashboard widget. That way you could keep an eye on all of your overdue tasks (again, there's no percentage calculation though). In terms of monitoring overdue Projects, you could create a Project based Report, filter by due date and then monitor Projects. You could then go in and change the due dates on a weekly or monthly basis to make sure you're looking only at overdue projects.

Has this had any developments since this post? I'd like to report on On Time in Full (OTIF) which is a common KPI in project management. This requires a data element that counts days since project start and compares to the completion date. For example, if the project was schedules for 100 (business) days and completed in 90 = 90% OTIF (less than 100% equals good in this case). I was able to create this custom metric in Kantata, our former vendor, but haven't figured it out in Wrike.
