How do you create automations in your Personal space if you're not the account admin or owner?
@Jennifer Wodzianski - I don't think it's possible to do automations in the personal space. The personal space should mostly be manual stuff you are doing for yourself. If you've got a project or thing that you are doing consistently (and want to automate) it probably should be in some other space.
@[Deleted User] - Is this correct?
I was wondering about this as well, thank you
Hi folks, Mike's right, that's not currently possible.
I can move this thread to our product Feedback forum where we gather suggestions and pass them on to our Product team - please let me know if that would work!
@Elizaveta Bogdanova yes, please move this to the Feedback forum. It seems crazy to me that you can't optimize your work in your Personal Space.
Thank you for your reply @Jennifer Wodzianski, we've moved your post to the Product Feedback forum 👍
No automation in personal space yet?
@Elizaveta Bogdanova Any updates on getting automations in personal space? It's been a year since this post.
@Rohan V So you are telling me that if this post doesn't get up to 60 votes, we will not have such as basic feature enabled? I am NOT linking Wrike at all!! It's a good thing that my boss took my word, and we are looking at a replacement!
@Rohan V I understand the need to have a voting system for deploying new things, but there are some basic functionalities that a software should have that should not require people voting for it. On this case, it's truly absurd to have automation capabilities everywhere but not in personal space! It is simply ridiculous.
We understand your sentiment @Henry Seron, and we've passed your feedback to our Product team.
Have you considered creating a private space just for you to store and automate your personal items there?
Agree - this is super annoying. At the very least if its my workspace, it would be good if when I create a new task (usually on the move) it would auto-assign it to me as it I created it and its in my personal space.
It would then be easy to find on my dashboard of tasks.
Moving it to another space, when task creation defaults to 'personal space' is just yet another step…
