Default Workflow and Status for new Projects/Proofs

We created a Custom Space Workflow and set it to the default for our Space. When we create new Projects and Proofs they are still defaulting to the Account Workflow.
How do we

Get Wrike to default to our Space Workflow
Determine which status in this worklow, new Projects/Proofs will default to

For #1 - defaulting to your space workflow. You can set the default in the space settings:

For #2 - You can default the starting status with a blueprint or the order of the statuses in the workflow.

For this blueprint I have the first few tasks starting as "in-progress" and the remaining tasks start at "new"

For this workflow, when projects are created they default to the top status:

Mike, appreciate the response. We set our Space Workflow as the default but it is still picking up the Account Workflow.

Have you checked the default workflow for projects of the folder you are creating the new project? There might be a different setting for each folder.

Hey @Sean Sykes,

Something similar happened to me and the reason was that the work we created was cross-tagging to another space and for whatever reason, it picked up and prioritized that space's custom workflow. Questions for you:

Is your work cross-tagging to another space?
Have you tried adding an automation for when new work creates (and if conditions are met if you want to isolate it further), then set status to [your first status] in Space Workflow?
