Hello Wrike Community,
I’m looking for a way to set up weekly tracking per task in Wrike that includes:
- % completed (actual progress)
- % planned for the week
- Weekly priority
- Weekly objectives
- And most importantly: a historical view week by week to analyze progress trends.
Idealy this foolow would be done here by the ressource weekly :

Here’s what I’ve explored so far:
- Custom fields + Table view → works for the current week, but doesn’t provide historical tracking.
- Weekly reports → give a snapshot, but not a consolidated history.
- Wrike Databases (Pinnacle) → allow creating a “Weekly Journal” table and linking records to tasks via Link to database + mirrored fields. However:
- Data entry is still manual.
- There’s no native automation to create records or update links each week.
- An no real link with the task itself from the task or project view
👉 My question to the community:
- Have you found an efficient way to automate or simplify this process?
- Are there any best practices for managing a one task → multiple weekly records (history) relationship and easily visualizing this data in project views or task details?
- Do you use Wrike Analyze, Datahub, or integrations (API, Zapier, Unito) for this type of need?
Thanks in advance for your insights and ideas!
