Viewing the workload chart for collaborators (limited users)

Hello,

Am I correct that collaborators not only cannot use the workload chart, but also cannot view it? It would be really handy if also collaborators who only execute tasks can see the workload overview for their team (for during team meetings).

Does anybody use an alternative workaround to visualize the work of the department for collaborators?

Hi @Simone Darphorn 👋 You're right. Collaborators cannot access or view the Workload charts. However, here are a couple of workarounds that might help:

1. Timeline View: Collaborators can be filtered by assignee in the Timeline view, allowing you to see their tasks and manage their workload visually.

2. Reports and Dashboards: Another option is to create reports or dashboards that can be shared with collaborators. While collaborators cannot access dashboards directly, reports can be shared with them, allowing them to see a summary of tasks and their statuses.

Dear Rohan,

The timeline view is the Gant view, right? It is only for a specific project so that does not show a planboard of the activities of someone's department.

I'm now using the calendar so a team member can at least see his own activities over time. But that does unfortunately not show any effort allocated to the corresponding to the task.

Report can only give a list of the tasks and statuses, but this is already captured in the My-To-Do, right?
