Hi everyone! 👋
Today, we would like to address some performance hiccups concerning our New Table View. We are eager to give you an update on what’s happening and what we’re doing about it.
You might have noticed that our New Table View has been a tad sluggish for some of you especially when dealing with folders packed with numerous columns.
We discovered that tasks like loading extra data, scrolling through tables, adding columns, and making updates in cells were slower in certain cases.
These performance issues are most noticeable on slower, less powerful computers, as a significant amount of system resources seem to be unexpectedly consumed. We continue to investigate the specifics of this issue.
It is important for us to assure everyone that our goal for the New Table View is to make it powerful, speedy, and super responsive, especially for power users and certainly better than the Old Table view.
We are treating this as a top priority. We’ve got experts across multiple teams working diligently to find a solution and make this right. What we know to date is that we are dealing with a combination of factors causing these issues.
But here's the good news: we're already rolling out the fixes. These fixes should improve the New Table view performance and address other identified issues, potentially tripling its responsiveness in those large folders and slower machines.
Our team anticipates that you will start to see these improvements as early as this week, and they'll keep on coming. We're incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these performance snags.
We would like to thank you for flagging this issue and providing timely feedback to our team.
Rest assured that we are absolutely committed to delivering the best possible experience on our platform.
If you happen to encounter any more performance dilemmas in the meantime, please reach out to our Support team. We need to know about every single one of them, so that we can tackle them head on. Our team will continue updating you here in the Wrike Community.
