Creative Ways to Launch Project from Blueprint for Wrike Newbies

I have a new employee who will have the need to create new projects on a regular basis. I'm going to create a blueprint, since the project will be the same every time. I'd rather avoid the "create a project from a blueprint" option. I'm a very experienced user and even I find that to be tricky (hunt for the blueprint, then have to make sure the right fields are selected or unselected).

I'm leaning toward creating a short submission form, which is how I spin up most new projects from blueprints. This also will allow me to place the folder in the new employees space/folder.

Am I missing anything that could be even easier than using a submission form? Any automation process that I'm overlooking?

I may just be over thinking this, but it seems like there should be an easier option than having to resort to a submission form.

Hi @Rob Gorczyca. We are doing it the same way. In my opinion the request form is the simplest way to guide a user through making a new project. You can ask for needed details and enter these informations automaticly to the new project. Also possibilities to make a difference between project types by asking questions in the request forms give a lot of posibilities. Automations I see no need for when starting a project the request form should be able to handle everything.

Automation we use in the next steps of a project. So if the project is approved by the manager the manager can set the project to a status approved and then the project can be moved automatically to a working forlder or whatever is needed. (just as an example, I think with the actual automation 90% or more of what we need in our project management process can be made)

Thank you! I figured a request form was the way to go, and you're right, this way I can set it up so that the form they fill out builds the appropriate project they will need and covers all of the questions needed.

Hi @Rob Gorczyca as @Sven Passinger said the more safety way is to use request forms for activate new projects.

If the project stucture is always the same it allow you to save a lot of time.
Then with Agents AI you can modify the structure of project (cancel or assign task) just created based on custom fields on project level.

AI Agents look fascinating to me but I've yet to actually get them to work, but that's exactly how I'd like to use them - to assign team members automatically based on custom field selections within the form.

I'll give it another try soon. That could be an incredible time-saver.
