Gantt Chart - Running Total

I am probably approaching this wrong.

My leadership has asked for a Gantt chart, with a chart showing invoices and billings along with project milestones with a running total column so they can forecast both budget and workflow from one screen.

I am not finding a way to do this. Open to suggestions

Hi @Ped Watt how do you want to make a chart with billings and budget?

I would see billings and budget as a table with numbers per Project (project is a row) per month (month are columns). Same with budget. I do not know how you want to put this together with a Gantt where tasks are shown as lines.

What we do: we extract costs (material we have as custom field and personal from booked hours, planned hours from the effort) via API and put it into an Excel as mentioned above. So they see costs per month and can work with it in Finance department. The same you can do with billings.
