Hi all,
We are configuring Wrike for our team, and are exploring we can best use the milestone feature as these are key to our planning process.
We have found when viewing the the task list in the table view, tasks that are converted to milestones are difficult to immediately identify. The gantt chart view works better for viewing milestones, but a lot of the team prefer a table view for their plans.
To work around this we have introduced a custom "Milestone" field which allows for a column to be added with a checkbox in the table view, the task can then also be converted to a milestone in the usual way. However, this method introduces potential human error which may lead to inaccurate status reporting.
I wonder if anyone has any better way of viewing milestones.
As a team we believe an improved Wrike feature would be to have a milestone column automatically populated with either "Yes" "No" or a checkbox checked, if the task has been converted to a milestone. Or perhaps the icon for the custom item type changed (similar to the icon used in the gantt chart view), to make it clearer which tasks are milestones.
Thanks!
