AI Agents got new precision controls (folder routing, smarter date shifts, cross-folder context, API-change triggers, per-action filters, checkbox + formula support) plus new Intake Duplication and Urgency Classifier agents. Templates & Solutions Center: Now Visible to All Users 🔎

The Templates & Solutions Center is now accessible to everyone in an account, including users who can’t create spaces or install templates (e.g., Viewers and Collaborators). This makes it easier for all teams to discover what Wrike has to offer.

What’s new?

- Browse & discover for all users: Everyone can explore the full gallery, view template details, descriptions, and previews.
-Clear guidance for restricted users: Users without template installation permissions will see a message explaining they need to be upgraded to Regular (or higher) or granted additional permissions to install templates.
-Greater visibility for Wrike Solutions: More teams across the organization can discover pre-built solutions and workflows.

How to access:

“Templates & Solutions” button in the user profile menu.
Direct link to a specific template shared by a colleague or a Wriker.

Urgency Classifier Agent: Auto Triage for Priority ⚡

The Urgency Classifier Agent scans new tasks for urgency cues like “ASAP,” “urgent,” or “no rush,” then updates a Priority custom field (High, Normal, Low) or pings the assignee when the intent is unclear, reducing the need for manual triage.

From a governance perspective, we intentionally restrict who can create spaces and install templates to Admins only.

With the Templates & Solutions Center now visible to all users (including Viewers and Collaborators), can you clarify whether this update changes or bypasses existing permission models in any way?

Specifically:

Does visibility introduce any new paths for template or solution installation?
Are there safeguards to ensure users without install permissions cannot indirectly initiate space or template creation (via links, AI agents, or shared actions)?
Is there an admin‑level control to limit or audit how Templates & Solutions are surfaced in governed environments?

Discoverability is valuable, but clarity on enforcement, guardrails, and admin controls is critical for organizations operating under strict workspace governance.

I appreciate the intent behind increasing awareness of Templates and Solutions; however, I have some concerns about making this content visible to all users by default. In our environment, we have governance measures in place to manage space creation and guide teams toward appropriate solutions in a structured way.

While we are open to leveraging Templates and Solutions where they make sense, broad visibility can create confusion for users who do not have the necessary access or licensing to utilize them. Given that Regular licenses represent a real business investment, promoting features that some users cannot act on may unintentionally lead to frustration and additional administrative overhead.

We encountered a similar challenge when Wrike AI was introduced and broadly communicated. At that time, we made a strategic decision not to pursue that capability, yet the widespread exposure led to ongoing questions and requests that required continued follow‑up. In practice, this increased noise rather than driving value for our teams.

It may be helpful to consider initially limiting visibility and communications for features like this to Account Administrators. Doing so would allow each organization to evaluate readiness, licensing impact, and overall fit before sharing information more broadly. For companies that are ready, administrators can proactively communicate and enable access; for others, it provides the flexibility to share only what is relevant and actionable at the right time.

These observations are shared in the spirit of constructive feedback, recognizing that every organization will approach feature adoption differently based on its specific needs and constraints.

Hi Florian, great question! The Urgency Classifier posts its assessment as a comment on the task — it doesn't update any task fields. It's informational only.

If you'd like the classification to also set a field value (e.g., Importance), you could add an action that combines the analysis with an "Update field" action.

The visibility of Templates & Solutions Center doesn't change anything in existing permission model. Users who can not create spaces will not be able to install templates. They can only see them and that's all. There is no indirect or hidden path to install a template - this action is regulated by permission model and can not be bypassed no matter from which place the Template is touched.

I think it's time for me to start exploring AI agents in Wrike more deeply. They are mentioned in every release note. I'll give it a try.

What stood out to me most about this months updates was the, "Clear guidance for restricted users: Users without template installation permissions will see a message explaining they need to be upgraded to Regular (or higher) or granted additional permissions to install templates.". I like this feature as many times (as a Space Admin) I'm asked about certain feature access, usually I am the one taking time researching why certain users are able to access features in Wrike whether it's the account type, user level, or access level. I think Wrike users and admins would greatly benefit from expanding this feature with more popup notifications that tell the user why they can't access certain features. I understand visibility is usually limited in some cases (the settings menu for space admins for instance doesn't show nearly as many options as a account admin - so there's nothing greyed out to click or prompt me why I don't see certain options) but to start I feel like Wrike could expand on this feature to save admins and users time to explain why or why not certain functions or features are available, and even how could let Wrike upsell their account levels by telling users/admins how to gain additional feature or functionality access.

The Urgency Classifier Agent for auto-triaging priority sounds neat!

We try to avoid adding an Importance question to request forms as we feel like everyone will mark their requests as Urgent/Top priority, so I can see how an agent like this can do the assessment work for us without letting requesters indicate the priority via the drop drown options.
