Feature Updates
You can now use Code and Code Block formatting directly in item descriptions, making it easier to add and share technical content in a clear, readable way.
What’s new?
- Code: Format a single line of text as code so it stands out and is easier to copy.
- Code Block: Preserve spacing and line breaks for structured, pre-formatted content.
See the Community post and Help Center article for more info.
- Wrike AI: AI Elite Usage Limits and Action Packs 🤖
We’re introducing updates to AI Elite usage to help teams scale adoption more predictably and avoid unexpected interruptions.
AI Elite features now follow usage limits based on the actions included in your plan. If your allocated AI Elite Actions are exhausted, access to AI Elite features may be restricted until your next monthly metering reset or until additional AI Elite Actions Packs are purchased.
Affected features include:
- AI Agents
- Copilot
- Widget Generation
To support teams with growing AI usage, AI Elite Actions Packs are available to extend usage when needed.
To help teams stay informed, in-product notifications and banners will appear as accounts approach key usage milestones. You can also view usage for both AI Essentials and AI Elite under AI Usage in Account Management. Please refer to this Help Center article for instructions.
We’ve rolled out several new updates for AI Agents. Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
1. New Action: Start and Manage Approval Flows
- Agents can now create approvals automatically when tasks meet the right conditions.
- Approvers can be specified using user chips in the action instructions, including individual users, user groups, the item author, or assignee.
- Supports both creating new approvals and updating existing draft approvals.
2. New Action: Send Emails via Gmail and Outlook
- Agents can now send emails through Gmail and Outlook, extending actions beyond Wrike.
- Email subject, body, and recipients can be generated using work item context, including assignee email, author email, custom field values, or explicit addresses in the prompt.
- Current limitations: no attachments, CC/BCC, secondary email addresses, or follower emails.
3. New Action: Write to Date Custom Fields
- Agents can now update custom date fields in addition to system start and due dates.
- This helps automate workflows such as setting kickoff or completion dates based on task changes.
Please note: Date custom fields with a time component (Wrike Labs feature) are not currently supported.
4. New Scope: Act on Subitems of the Triggered Item
- Agents can now act only on the subitems of the item that triggered them.
- This makes it easier to update child tasks of a newly created project without affecting unrelated subitems in the same folder or space.
5. Specify Approvers and Assignees with User Chips
- User chips can now be embedded directly in approval action instructions.
- This allows agents to reference individual users or user groups more reliably when assigning approvers or assignees.
6. Agent Logs Are Easier to Find
- New entry points make agent logs easier to access from the agent configuration page, space settings, and work item stream.
- This makes it simpler to monitor and troubleshoot agent activity across your workspace.
For more information about AI Agents, see this Help Center article.
Klaxoon Boards can now be included in Templates created from spaces.
What’s new?
- When you save a space as a Template, any included Klaxoon Board is packaged in the Template.
- When the Template is used to create a new space, the board is created as a tool in that space.
- References to Wrike items on the board are preserved and automatically relinked to the newly created items.
Learn more about Custom Space Templates in this Help Center article.
- Klaxoon Board: Go to Participant’s Position and Easier Board Renaming 📍
We’re introducing two updates for New Board users to make collaboration smoother and board management more intuitive.
What’s new?
-Jump directly to another participant’s location on the board from the participants submenu when both users have cursors enabled.
-Click a participant’s avatar in the header to instantly navigate to their position on the board.
-Rename a board by simply clicking its title in the upper-left corner, if you’re the author or co-author.
-The existing hover information on the board title has been moved to the Information submenu.
These updates are available for New Board users only. For more information, check the following Help Center articles: How to Go to a Participant’s Position | How to Rename a Board.
